THE STANDOUT MOMENT of the Miss Universe 2015 pageant last night was obviously the wrong woman being crowned (ARRGHH), but something lovely was happening behind the scenes.
Contestants were encouraged to share makeup-free selfies on Twitter alongside the pageant’s slogan #ConfidentlyBeautiful, all to promote body positivity.
Of course, they’re still absolutely gorgeous – but the photos are an example of the transformative power of makeup and hair styling, and show that underneath it all, they’re normal women.
